Hmm, the 19th you say....
Alright, so we're at dinner tonight which was cooked by husband, oh yes, he cooks! Well, let me rephrase that- he cooked- as in past tense. Once. Tonight. Defrosted and decided upon by me- which again, if you ask me deciding what's for dinner is the hard part. Sticking it on the grill and firing up the oven is the easy part. DH mentions that he has lunch plans for the 19th with some co workers. Fine, fun, great times....except, hold on, the 19th you say? That's the day of Olivia's 12 month check up- you know the checkups you have been coming to for the past 11 months of our daughter's life, the ones where we go and see her development, do the shot thing, weight, height, check the normalcy of her growth? Then we always go for a great lunch just to celebrate we made it through another month! That day you said 2 weeks ago was not going to work for you because it was right before the holidays and vacation and you needed to finish your oh-so-important work. And now you are planning a lunch with some coworkers- oh no you didn't!
